UPDATE - 06/02/05: We've added this printable postcard to the campaign arsenal! UPDATE - 05/15/05: Although the ABC fall schedule will not be announced until Tuesday, saveeyes.com has been given the okay to announce that "Eyes" will NOT be a part of ABC's fall lineup. This doesn't mean that the saveeyes campaign is over. Now it's time to request that ABC air the remaining unseen episodes over the summer and to push for a DVD release. Remember, the fate of this show was decided by the 1200 Nielsen households, but over five times that many people signed our petitions to keep "Eyes" on the air. Executive producer John McNamara has asked saveeyes.com to extend his heartfelt thanks to all who signed these petitions. The cast and crew have not given up on "Eyes" just yet. And neither have we. Keep checking the site, and join our mailing list. ![]() ![]() Mailing handwritten letters is the most effective way to contact ABC. You can even
just send a quick postcard to ABC, with a handwritten request to SAVE "EYES"
noting what you love best about the show.
WHAT SHOULD I WRITE IN MY LETTER? Write a detailed letter stating 5 reasons the network should save and pick up EYES for next season. And remember - TV is a business, and network executives think primarily in terms of money and ratings - so explain why saving "EYES" is in their best interests! You might also take a second to describe yourself (age, occupation, marital status, etc.), what you love about the show, why you'll keep watching.
